Great hotel, I really enjoyed its very central location not far from tube station, downtown center, and the centre of Barcelona. The breakfast was good, with a huge variety of different options...

fair location near Sants train station
The WIFI did not work in our room. I think it did not work anywhere near the rear of the hotel. There is a middle school near back left of hotel, and many screaming children, forget about opening a window. Our first room was so small, we couldn't even open our suitcases, no desk, no chair, only a bed. The second was not any better, and the third was barely acceptable. Much better value at the H10 Itaca, Catalonia Roma, or Sercotel Abbott hotels near/on via Roma. This hotel, while fairly new, had too many things that a real 4-star hotel wouldn't have wrong.

The area is quiet, easy to reach and the hotel is good.We are very satisfied during our stay at Barcelona and in this hotel, the staff are also nice. When we will go back to Barcelona, sure that we will book again at Zenit Borrell.

Clean, nothing out of the ordinary, all basic facilities plus the free wifi which is always nice.
I felt they could staff it a bit more, e.g. During breakfast the wait for the coffee can be lenghty and - same for the reception. Nice staff, though.
